Colorado 100

On July 30, 2003 over one-hundred leaders from across Colorado gathered to discuss ways to mitigate the impact that a series of constitutional amendments have on Colorado’s state and local government budgets.  The sponsors of the Colorado 100 specifically sought to recruit a diverse pool of participants; representing a wide range of geographic as well as economic interests.  Following the success of the July Colorado 100 meeting in Denver, the sponsors of the Colorado 100 decided to extend the conversation by holding a series of regional Colorado 100 meetings across the state during the fall of 2003 and early winter of 2004.

As with the original Colorado 100 meeting in Denver, at each of the meetings a sincere effort was made to attract participants that accurately reflect the region.  As a result, participants in the regional Colorado 100’s have ranged from county commissioners, school board members and mayors, to local business leaders.  Currently, meetings have been held or are scheduled to be held in the following locations:  Lamar, Alamosa, Fort Collins/Greeley, Pueblo, Grand Junction, Durango, Colorado Springs, Steamboat Springs, Eagle/Summit Counties, Douglas/Arapahoe Counties, Jefferson County, Adams County, Boulder and Denver.  Following you will find the participant guide that was mailed to all of the participants of the Colorado 100’s in advance of the meetings.  Also, access to the results of the meeting will be made available as soon as the information is compiled.
